What's your favourite book or film? I have lots of favourite books, one of them is Romeo and Juliet. I also like lots of films, such as Braveheart, Pearl Harbour, Titanic,... Sí, ya sé que esas películas le gustan a todo el mundo ;)
Los libros y las pelis basadas en momentos históricos nos ayudan a entender mejor la cultura de los países donde se habla inglés. Además las pelis nos ayudan a mejorar nuestro listening y a reconocer los distintos acentos del inglés, mira estos dos trailers y verás como reconoces los distintos acentos:

Me gustaría saber cuál es tu libro o película favorita. Así que vas a escribir una reseña de tu libro o peli favorita. ¿Y cómo se hace eso? Pues "pay attention", it's easy-peasy!
ACTIVITY 1. Write about your favourite book or film. Use the following structure:
Tiene que tener vuestro writing (redacción) tres párrafos
First paragraph (primer párrafo):
Introduction(Introducción):
give the title and author of the book /Di el título y el autor del libro.
If you're reviewing a film mention the director or actors/ Si vas a hablar de una peli, di el nombre del director, actores....
- My favourite book/ film is...
- The author’s name is ...
Example: My favourite book is Alice in Wonderland. The author’s name is Lewis Carroll.
Second paragraph (segundo párrafo):
Body(cuerpo):
1. Summarize the plot in a few sentences/resume el argumento ( de lo que va) en pocas frases.
2. Mention the setting: the place and time of the plot./menciona donde y cuando tiene lugar la historia
3. Say something about the main characters/ habla algo de los actores/ personajes principales
4. Say something about the content/ habla un poco de la peli o del libro en general
Third paragraph (tercer párrafo):
Conclusion:
1. Comment on the book or film.
2. Let others know whether or not you liked the book/film.
3. Why do you like it? Why don't you like it?
4. Is the author's style good or bad, is the book / film interesting or boring etc.
5. Do you want to recommend the book/film?
- I like this book because …
- I think it’s a good book for someone who likes…
Last paragraph: Rate the film or the book with stars

RECUERDA
- Recuerda hacer primero un "draft"/ borrador.
- Incluye fotos, o si es una peli puedes incluir un link al trailer, o a alguna escena que te guste, una entrevista al autor/director, etc...
- El trabajo me lo tenéis que hacer en WORD (no copies de internet ninguna reseña, pueden tener derechos de autor). Publicaré vuestras reseñas como las que tenéis a continuación. Take a look, os servirán de modelo:
